Another fun mystery involving Meg and her family! This time, she finds herself assisting friends with the relocation of a horse rescue organization as their previous land is stuck in a land dispute. Abel and George are brothers who are arguing about what to do with the land as their father passed away without leaving a will. 

As Meg and her family and friends help care for the horses, some injured and unwell, trouble begins to brew as George and his cronies show up univited. George keeps trying to argue with Abel, and Abel and the others are afraid some of the bad luck that had been recently happening at his farm would follow to the new place. And it does. To Meg's surprise, while camping outside of the barns, someone is found dead and it seems like foul play!

Will Meg be able to find the murderer and keep the horses safe?
