Another great mystery with Sarah Booth and her friends! This time, the story starts out with the song, "Ode to Billy Joe". It seems the song has come to life with Sarah Booth seeing a woman jump off a bridge to the Tallahatchie Bridge. Later, Sarah Booth and Tinkie are hired to find a missing farmer who was in great debt to the bank and in danger of losing his farm. While tracking down leads and coming close to finding the man, Sarah Booth also starts to learn more about her own history. 

That said, the book ends on such a cliffhanger that it left me wishing I hadn't read this book until the next one was already out! The author really knows how to wrap the reader in the story so that they are feeling the same way that Sarah Booth is.
